Days Gone is a new post-apocalyptic thriller from Bend Studio
The game follows Deacon St. John (who looks an bad lot like a bearded Sam Witwer), a drifter and bounty hunter who would rather risk the dangers out there on the open road than live his life inside one of the “safe” camps.
There’s certainly no end to zombie themed horror games out there. Meanwhile, as the name implies, the Horde is a group made up of hundreds of individual Freakers which act as one. The former are humans which were infected when they were young, and are opportunistic hunters who attack from the shadows.
Days Gone is scheduled to launch exclusively on the PlayStation 4.
Let us know in the comments section what you think of Days Gone! Earlier this year, we reported that Sony trademarked Days Gone with the US Patent and Trademark Office in December 2015 under Computer Games Software and Online Games Software categories. The game takes place two years after a global pandemic has killed many and transformed millions into “Freakers”, Days Gone’s versions of zombies.
More details have been promised over the next few months. Are you excited to play as Deacon, biker badass extraordinaire?
It would definitely be a one-of-a-kind experience if players do get to fight against a massive horde in the game’s open-world survival setting where every element of the game appears to be useable against the pack.
Further into their conference (after a visual barrage of handsome trailers, no less), we’re then treated to a segment of gameplay, seeing our protagonist come up against a literal horde of zombies.
