Heritage Baptist Church in Flemington VBS is June 27-July 1
Community members are encouraged to bring their dad and socialize after church with donuts and coffee. This will be the last day of their service to Magnolia United Methodist Church and Sandyville United Methodist Church as he has taken another appointment.
The 11 a.m. service is streaming live here from the church in the 1500 block of Pierre Ave.in Shreveport. The guest speaker will be Marvin Ray Walker, a deacon at New Salem Missionary Baptist Church. Commencement service will be 10 a.m. Sunday, June 26, with potluck lunch at noon. The VBS theme is “Son Harvest County Fair” and it runs 6-8:30 p.m. June 20-24, for ages 3 through 6th grade. There is no charge.

VBS – St. John Lutheran Church, 09088 Openlander Road, Sherwood, is hosting Deep Sea Discovery Vacation Bible School Monday-Friday from 9-11:30 a.m.
The Olympic-theme program will be held at Bicentennial Park in the village. This year’s theme is “I’ve Got Talent: Showcasing My Work for Jesus”. The games will for children of all ages. There will be a supper served at 5 p.m. on Friday. The morning’s worship will include a “blessing of the pets” by Pastor Bruce McLaughlin, the kids will share what they learned at Pets Unleashed.
