Kris Hammond was never shy about his opposition to Donald Trump. Kris Hammond was going to Cleveland.
Hogan has made no secret of his disdain for Trump, and has said he won’t attend next month’s Republican National Convention.
Ominously for Trump, Clinton’s now rallying her party better than he is, despite the fact that Bernie Sanders has yet to officially drop out of the race. And according to interviews with multiple delegates, as Trump’s rhetoric continues to divide rather than unify, those tensions are only poised to escalate.
Speaking of the June 12 terror attack in Orlando of Florida that left 49 people dead and 53 others injured, along with other similar incidents, Trump said the murders were born out of disrespect for America. “I think that should be absolutely disavowed. I will not buckle”.
Asked what Trump could do to turn it around and earn his support, Kasich replied “Well, I don’t know”. “It’s an unhappy situation”, he says.

Just yesterday, Trump was shushing Ryan and other skeptical GOP leaders.
“Unfortunately our votes are already in [DC GOP Chairman Jose Cunningham’s] hands”, Berle says. “Don’t talk please be quiet, just be quiet, tell the leaders because they have to get tougher”.
Some Republicans are distancing themselves completely, like Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, who said Wednesday he wouldn’t back Trump. Trump was not yet the presumptive nominee, nor had the primary season begun.
“Well, the list is getting tall”.
“It’s shameful that anyone would try to use a moment of silence honoring victims of a brutal terrorist attack to advance their own political agenda”, said AshLee Strong of House Speaker Ryan’s office.
