President Obama Masterfully Sons Donald Trump’s Radical Islam Speech
Trump has denounced “stupid” trade deals that hurt USA workers, a message that could have resonance in labor-heavy Rust Belt states that have been in the Democratic column in past elections such as Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.
Condemning her Republican opponent’s reaction to the Orlando shooting, Hillary Clinton told a thousand Pennsylvania supporters Tuesday that Donald Trump’s remarks prove he is “temperamentally unfit” for the job of US president.
For her part, Hillary Clinton spoke out about the tragedy in Orlando in a national security speech in Cleveland on Monday.
It’s a proposal put forward by many Democrats, including President Barack Obama, who has called it a common-sense measure.
“But defeating Donald Trump can not be our only goal”.
And, sources underscore, most of these ideas would be incredibly hard to execute – never mind that they understand it would feed into the very real anger at the “establishment” among GOP voters that fueled Trump’s victories in the first place.
More respondents agreed Clinton was empathetic (42-27), able to handle a national crisis (48-31) and qualified to be president (56-30) than Trump. Trump has insinuated that he can not receive a fair trial in litigation over his much-embattled Trump University because of the judge’s “Mexican heritage”. And Republican Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming said of Trump, “I’m just not going to comment on more of his statements”.
A Bloomberg Politics poll released on Tuesday showed Clinton with a 12-point lead over her Republican rival, while an NBC/SurveyMonkey weekly tracking poll released earlier that morning showed Clinton with a seven-point lead over Trump, four points higher than her lead over the former reality television star in NBC’s tracking poll two weeks ago.
Diane Gurganus, 70, from Jefferson, Georgia, said she, too, believed Obama was a Muslim whose religious beliefs were affecting the way he has responded to Islamic State militants and the Orlando attacks. This has become extremely popular with Republican office holders, many of whom don’t want to see Clinton elected but don’t want to be seen as endorsing Trump and his conduct and agendas. His talk of Mexico led to “build a wall” chanting, and a weird interruption by Trump.
Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks said the candidate was retweeting a message from another Twitter user.
The survey also inquired about views of GOP Gov. Scott Walker. They say Trump’s views on global affairs are inconsistent and would make the country less safe. But Clinton is “crooked”, Trump said. “I will decide who I will vote for as this campaign unfolds”. “Rather than showing that the Obama administration is supporting terror groups, the information in the memo demonstrates why the administration was so reluctant to back rebel groups in Syria, often to the annoyance of Republican hawks”.
During his speech, he not only abhorrently criticized both Clinton and Obama, but he also chose to go for the jugular.
With Bernie Sanders all but out of the picture as a presidential candidate, his crowds of T-shirt-clad, “Bernie”-chanting college supporters are left wondering – what next?”
