Elizabeth Warren Endorses Hillary Clinton for President
The move will open Clinton’s general-election account, allowing people who donated the maximum amount of $2,700 to Clinton’s primary campaign to donate to her general-election effort and to funnel money to the Democratic Party in large sums.
Sanders broke fundraising records during his long-shot bid for the presidency, collecting more than $210 million through more than 7.4 million individual contributions, averaging $27 apiece.
On Friday, Sanders met with President Barack Obama at the White House, where he announced he will support the fight to defeat the presumptive Republican nominee, Donald Trump in the November election.
Maybe it’s part of whatever new strategy his team has come up with, but today Donald Trump chose to bring up old attacks on Hillary Clinton from top Democrats expected to be her greatest surrogates this campaign season.
Conservative talk show host Steve Deace even said today, “Delegates from at least eight states have contacted me in the last four days about a revolt in Cleveland”.
Warren was the only holdout among the Senate’s Democratic women and her endorsement could be an important boost for Clinton.
Their first joint campaign event will take place next Wednesday in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Republicans including Trump have savaged her for her judgment, saying she put U.S. national security at risk, and have accused her of deleting key emails that she did not want Americans to see. I’ve seen her toughness.
So I want those of you who’ve been with me from the beginning of this incredible journey to be the first to know that I’m with her.
Ms. Clinton welcomed the vote of confidence: “Honoured to have you with me, @POTUS I’m fired up and ready to go!” she tweeted, echoing one of Mr. Obama’s own campaign rallying cries from 2008. Over the years however, they forged one of the closest bonds of any commander-in-chef and his deputy.
Bernie Sanders also gave what sounded a lot like a concession speech on Thursday afternoon. She called the Democratic primary “constructive”, and thanked her Vermont colleague for thrusting issues like income inequality and banking reform into the spotlight. More pragmatic Sanderistas are pressing him to leverage his newfound political clout to shift the party to the left.
