Chelsea Clinton gives birth to second child, son Aidan
If the reactions to Chelsea’s past pregnancy and birth announcements teach us anything, it’s that people always have something to say.
The presumptive Democratic nominee welcomed her second grandchild Saturday, a first grandson: Aidan Clinton Mezvinsky.
Chelsea is the vice chair of the Clinton Foundation, a nonprofit her father started to improve health and wellness around the world.
Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is a grandmother again. Like her he was born into a political family: his father and mother served in Congress, representing Iowa and Pennsylvania respectively.
This is sure to be an extra-special Fathers’ Day for everyone in Clinton Mezvinsky family.
Her parents, former president Bill Clinton and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, shared a statement about the exciting baby news as well.
At an event in Santa Barbara, California, earlier this month, she said becoming a grandparent is “truly like falling in love all over again – nothing like it”. Charlotte will turn two in September. Clinton announced the birth of her second child today via Twitter.
And Hillary has said in the past she was curious to see how Charlotte would handle being a big sister.
She married Marc Mezvinsky in 2010. Ever since their daughter’s nuptials, Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton have applied good-natured public pressure on her to make them grandparents.
