Police Identify Christina Grimmie’s Killer

Grimmie had posted a video of herself shortly before the concert was scheduled to begin, encouraging fans to come see her perform.

Kevin Loibl wasn’t like her. Her videos on YouTube have garnered millions of views. He left little trace online. Grimmie, who appeared on season six of NBC’s The Voice, was signing autographs after a show when a 21-year-old man approached and shot her.

Grimmie’s brother tackled Loibl to the ground after he shot his sister following a performance at Orlando’s Plaza Live.

Gomez helped promote her stepfather’s charitable mission by retweeting a link to the fundraiser posted by her stepfather on Grimmie’s account.

Selena also reportedly canceled her meet-and-greet event that night, in light of Christina’s death. “There is no indication that he knew her”.

Grimmie, 22, isn’t the only person in the entertainment industry to have been killed by a stranger. Preceding her were John Lennon, designer Gianni Versace and 1980s sitcom star Rebecca Shaeffer. “She was taken from us too soon”.

“They were only a year apart and he would always talk about how he would do anything for her”. The Orlando Police Department also confirmed on its official Twitter page that Grimmie had died. “We lost a lovely soul with an unbelievable voice”.

“I don’t really understand how this really happened, but I would like to dedicate this next song to her.” she added, wiping her eyes before performing a piano rendition of Hillsong Worship’s “Transfiguration”. “I wanted to write with feeling and emotion”.

“She just had a really powerful voice”. Approximately 120 people were inside the venue at the time. According to CNN, Grimmie’s killer was armed with two handguns with extra magazines and a hunting knife.

Police credit Marcus’ heroic actions for preventing the gunman from hurting others. “I’ve been upset about this all day, mainly because I just never got to say what I wanted to say to her, and I feel like this song perfectly captures that”.
