Stephen Curry fined $25 K for throwing mouthpiece, Kerr also hit
Someone gets suspended, someone gets hurt, someone gets ejected, and lots of someones make no effort to hide their frustration.
Prior to the NBA Finals, Curry never picked up more than three fouls in any game.
The biggest challenge does, too.
Stephen Curry learned of the situation after he spoke with the media following the Warriors’ 115-101 loss to the Cavaliers. The mouthpiece hit the son of one of the Cavs’ minority owners, who was sitting in the front row and later received an apology from Curry.
“The playoffs haven’t been easy”, Curry said. Hasn’t been a breeze. “But those are still fouls and we weren’t able to get them”.
Winning an NBA Finals Game 7 on the road has only been achieved three times in the past, and not since 1978.
Questions like those seem a bit more valid now.
Although Curry scored 30 points, he fouled out for the first time since 2013. Cleveland is great, there’s no question LeBron James is unbelievably good.
The grind of March and April has nothing to do with any of that.
They greeted him early Friday after Game 6 of the NBA Finals, when James dropped 41 points on Golden State for the second straight game and dominated Stephen Curry, staring down the MVP and taunting him after a dismissive block.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr may also face penalties after criticizing officials and saying that he “was happy” with Curry’s reaction. “So I can’t wait for Sunday. They’ve got us to where we wanted to be – and that’s Game 7”. We missed Bogues tonight, but we still feel very confident that we can win without him. “We’re in a spot that 29 other teams would love to be in”.
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry’s father-in-law was almost arrested prior to Game 6 of the NBA Finals on Thursday when he was mistaken for a credential counterfeiter.
Not only did Steph’s Warriors lose the game, his wife Ayesha got roasted on Twitter for claiming that the game was “rigged”.
“However he wants to celebrate or whatever he wants to do to take in that moment, it is what it is”, Curry said of James.
Their problems go deeper than officiating issues, though.
Shaun Livingston, one of several Warriors struggling from the field, said knocking down more shots at Oracle Arena would alter James’ preferred pace.
“At the end of the day, this is going to be it for all of us”, James said of Game 7.
