Unreleased films to showcase Anton Yelchin’s talent, passion
It emerged on Monday that the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Yelchin was driving had been under recall for the possibility that it could roll off without warning. This being said, it seems incredible that anyone would walk away from a vehicle that was not in park or turned off, for that matter. This caused many drivers to leave their vehicles thinking they’d put their cars in park when they hadn’t successfully done so-resulting in 41 injuries, 212 crashes, and 308 total incident reports.

Star Trek Beyond is set to open July 22.
The cast of Star Trek Beyond were slated to appear at Cannes tomorrow for a Q&A session about their work on the upcoming movie, but in the wake of the tragic accident that cost Anton Yelchin his life, Paramount has pulled them from the event.
It rolled backwards down his steep driveway, pinning him against a brick mailbox pillar and security fence.
Fiat Chrysler, which owns Jeep, issued a recall notice to drivers in April about the transmission.
Milla Jovovich, who acted opposite Yelchin in 2014 Shakespeare big-screen adaptation “Cymbeline”, described him as her “brother” and said she and her family were “destroyed” by his death.
Star Trek actor, Anton Yelchin, who featured as Chekov in Star Trek, Star Trek Into Darkness, and the up and coming film Star Trek Beyond, dies at 27 years old.
Paramount released an official statement, explaining, “All of us are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend Anton Yelchin”. According to TMZ.com, Anton’s friend reportedly got anxious when he didn’t show up to a meeting, so he went to his house in San Fernando Valley and found him “pinned between his auto and a brick mailbox”. The NHSTA did not immediately return a request for comment from Patch but told The New York Times, “This the first fatality we’re aware of that may be related to this safety defect and vehicle recall”.
The local police department is continuing to investigate Yelchin’s death, and a spokesman for Fiat Chrysler has said the company plans to look into the actor’s shocking accident as well.
