KFC has not put the new meal box on sale right now. Yes, we’re totally serious.

The meal box comes with a detachable 6,100mAh power bank with USB and lightning cable ports for Android phones and iPhones respectively.

KFC has tied up with a digital agency, Blink Digital to launch “watt a box”.

We launched the 5-in-1 Meal Box in March this year and the objective of providing an abundant complete meal and at an affordable price for customers.

Diners at selected KFC restaurants in India are not only filling their bellies with finger-licking fried chicken but also fuelling their phones for free thanks to the Colonel’s latest tech-related give-away gimmick called Watt a Box. Launched only in India, its all-new meal box offers fuel both for you and your phone.

Dooj Ramchandani, the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Blink Digital said “In today’s day and age, smartphones have become as indispensable as food”. The limited edition meal box by the fast-food chain lets customers charge their smartphone while you take a bite of your favorite meal. Users can also participate in an online contest on the KFC India Facebook page to win these limited edition boxes.
