Taylor Lautner joins Scream Queens cast

TVLine reports that Taylor Lautner has joined the cast of Scream Queens season two, where he’ll play “Dr. Cassidy Cascade”.

Lautner, will play Dr. Cassidy Cascade, “a doctor at the hospital who suffers from a odd medical condition and becomes a suspect when a series of tragic events plagues the institution”.

He wrote: “Big news everyone!”

Scream Queens is a production of Ryan Murphy Television, Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision, and 20th Century Fox Television. Lautner’s Dr. Cassidy Cascade is described as a MD who has a unusual medical condition and turns into a suspect when deaths begin occurring at the hospital.

The new season of Scream Queens will pick up about two years after the events of season one, moving from the college campus to a hospital, where some of the most weird medical cases are under observation.

Fuller House star John Stamos was previously announced as Dr. Brock Holt, the hospital’s “brilliant, but secretive, head surgeon”.

It seems like this is going to be a insane and very dramatic season – we can’t wait for the premiere on September 20th! “I think it’s going to be very dark”, she told E! “It’s in a hospital, [there’s] a lot of darkness in hospitals-dark hallways, scary rooms, sharp objects, a lot of blood, disinfectants”.

In addition to playing a hunky werewolf in the Twilight film series, Lautner’s credits include Cuckoo, The Ridiculous 6, Tracers, Grown Ups 2, and Abduction.
