Queen Holds Royal Celebration for 90th Birthday
Some 10,000 people will gather on The Mall to eat a picnic lunch to celebrate her work with some 600 charities.
Trooping The Colour and the fly-past are part of a weekend of events to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.
The monarch will attend to watch a carnival-style procession.

In a ceremony laden with the pageantry that accompanies significant royal events, the monarch was greeted by a trumpet fanfare while the entrance to the cathedral was flanked by her Bodyguard of the Yeoman of the Guard, veteran soldiers dressed in scarlet uniforms.
Spotted among the guests were a few famous faces including Only Fools And Horses Actor David Jason and Prince Albert of Monaco who chatted to the Duke of York.
The young tots joined their parents, Prince Harry, the Queen and her husband, Prince Philip, as they greeted onlookers and waved to those who wanted to wish the Queen well.
The Queen’s grandson is a director of Sports and Entertainment Ltd, a global events agency which came up with the idea for the not- for-profit event and will receive an undisclosed fee for staging it.
The dress, made by Roksanda, instantly sold out online after the Duchess made her appearance at the Patron’s Lunch.
