PM Modi discusses bilateral issues with Tajikistan President in Tashkent

The Prime Minister said India’s capacities in trade, investment, information and communication technology, space, S&T, agriculture, healthcare, and small- and medium-scale industry can bring widespread economic benefit to the SCO countries.
The document also stressed the SCO’s readiness to develop contacts and cooperation with other countries and organizations which are sharing the provisions of the SCO’s fundamental documents.
In a special gesture, Modi was received at the Tashkent global airport by his Uzbek counterpart Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoev. What we need is seamless flow of goods, services, capital and people among ourselves. “Our decision to join the worldwide North South Transport Corridor, the Chabahar Agreement, and Ashgabat Agreement reflects this desire and intent”, he said.
“But, that alone is not enough”. He said India attaches great importance to ties with Central Asia and always seeks to expand economic and people-to-people ties with the region.
