Contestants get alternative accommodation after Big Brother house flood
It was down to Glenn and Corey after Nicole (phew!) grabbed her flag first, with Tiffany close behind. Even the first elimination contained a twist by the eliminated being chosen through competition instead of votes. However, he told Da’ Vonne that she was ok.
The night began with the 12 new houseguests moving into the Big Brother House before learning that former players Nicole (Season 16), Frank (Season 14), James (Season 17) and Da’Vonne (Season 17) would be joining them this summer.
The HOH/eviction competition is a test of balance as the team members of Freakazoids have to climb a palm tree to gather coconuts and place the coconuts in various spots to spell out SOS on a large wobbly platform.
But this first eviction wouldn’t be decided by a House Guest vote like in seasons past. Giving the veterans a chance to survive the first week of the season and nearly guaranteeing another newbie will be evicted. Considering how the four veterans feel threatened and want control of the game to make sure they aren’t on the chopping block early on, this could lead to some heated arguments. Through some bad acting, the first HOH fell to Nicole, who pretended not to want it but actually did – thanks in part to the house majority’s anti-veterans sentiment. Put them in a physical competition – and let’s see who wins? James, Corey, Tiffany, and Michelle did not get an invite to the meeting. Houseguest Paulie Calafiore is already generating quite a bit… Somehow Nicole’s awful acting skills tricked Corey into giving her what she wanted without much guidance. After viewing the tapes, it is determined that Corey made it first and Glenn is the first eviction. Bronte also waves and Tiffany wields a ruler because she’s a teacher (and nothing says contemporary modern educator like a wooden yardstick). He pretended to be Victor and it was hilarious. Victor confides in Nicole that the newbies are targeting the vets and Nicole is shocked that he gave up his game plan without any prodding.
The returners plus Paulie did some hardcore plotting against Jozea in the HOH bedroom, while Jozea unknowingly sucked on a popsicle in the kitchen. She is safe from going home. We’ll see if this alliance lasts longer than a week.
