Salah Roma move could be delayed
Mohamed Salah’s move to Roma is nearing conclusion, with the Chelsea winger arriving in Rome today.
The Viola believed that he would be returning to them for the upcoming season after his initial loan spell last season, but he vetoed the move to escape from the contract.
Salah scored six goals during 16 appearances while on loan in Tuscany, joining as part of the deal that saw Juan Cuadrado join Jose Mourinho’s side.
“He doesn’t belong in my squad and he’s not staying here”, declared Mourinho during the US summer tour.

“Fiorentina have been threatening with legal action but it is completely baseless and without any grounds”, he added.
‘Sure, after the results of the medical are concluded, they can take one to two days.
Chelsea are hoping to recoup at least half of that transfer fee but are likely to release Salah on loan again with a mandatory purchase clause Roma have to take up at the end of next season. “Furthermore, Salah will only accept a loan where the club has an obligation to buy him, not an “option” to buy him”.
