Ben Affleck Almost Directed the Force Awakens
The Force Awakens, the fifth entry in TT Game’s Lego Star War series, is scheduled to be released for PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Windows PC, PS Vita, Wii U and Nintendo 3DS on June 28, 2016. During its game announcement at E3, Sony made sure that fans of Star Wars and Lego will have to be something to be happy about. Players can relive the epic action from the blockbuster film in a way that only LEGO ® can offer, featuring storylines from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, retold through the clever and witty LEGO ® lens. So it is likely that players will be able to find an angry teenage Kylo Ren.
Hot off the one-two-three punch of Gone Baby Gone, The Town and Argo – with the latter bagging him that all-important Oscar – Affleck was certainly on quite the streak before J.J. Abrams ultimately landed the Star Wars: The Force Awakens gig. Download the demo today to join Rey, Finn, and BB-8 as they evade the villainous First Order.
Of course, what is the fun of getting the gameplay of “Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens” if there won’t be any Stormtroopers, Star Destroyers, and of course, the Millennium Falcon.
“It is.it’s also sort of you know forks in the road that are like legitimate different paths you know”. Even though we’ll probably never see a Star Wars movie directed by Affleck, we can at least imagine what it would have been like.
This video also features original dialogue recorded by actress Daisy Ridley, who, as you know, plays the role of Rey in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Share your thoughts below.
