IPhone 7/Iphone 7 Plus Photos Leaked Again Showing Interesting Camera Design
While we’ve seen no shortage of rumors pointing to all of the snazzy and advanced camera technology Apple is planning to grace the iPhone 7 Plus with, the most recent iPhone 7 leak reminds us that Apple’s 4.7-inch iPhone 7 may also have a substantive camera upgrade itself.
With Apple’s annual September iPhone event approaching, new details regarding the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus/Pro have surfaced. This simply because one of them, the iPhone 7 Plus will come with only a large screen while the other will come with the novelty of Apple’s newest features at a slight premium.
What’s particularly interesting about the latest iPhone 7 leak, however, is that the photos appear to suggest that the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 model will receive an impressive camera upgrade. This is NOT a leaked image.
According to Apple Insider, Garcha’s note reads, “We see a number of features and upgrades, including an OLED [organic light-emitting diode] screen, full glass display, no home button, enhanced Taptic Engine, improved camera, and wireless charging in the iPhone 8”. Apple might have limited the antennae lines on iPhone to the curvature of the case, instead of scrolling across the rear of the device. The Smart Connector is expected to sit on the back of the iPhone 7 Pro only.
Apple is reportedly reserving big changes for the 2017 iPhone to mark the 10th anniversary of the original device.
Just like with the dual-camera lens module, the Smart Connector is also expected to make its way only to one iPhone 7 variant. In fact, the expected camera bump on the phone could possibly be a measure to make the phone waterproof!
A dual-lens camera would take iPhone photography to a whole new level.
While the new design will largely resemble the iPhone 6s, there are a few notable differences such as the lack of a headphone jack and a redesigned antenna system on the back. The new color is a darker gray, between the current Space Gray color and black, AppleInsider reported. Nobody really knows how the iPhone Pro will differ from the rest of the models but knowing Apple they will most likely just introduce a gimmick and try to sell it to consumers worldwide.
