Adele’s 25 is number one again after Glastonbury Festival performance
A few fans were allowed to come up on stage with the star at various points in the night, probably the cutest being 10-year-old Lyla, who was lucky enough to get a selfie with Adele (we’re not jealous at all.).
Almost every member of the crowd sang in unison as she launched into the chorus and flares illuminated the sky. Well as great as Muse is, we love you more Adele for keeping it 100 with us.
Speaking about her post break-up routine, Adele – who has a three-year-old son, Angelo, with long-term partner Simon Konecki – confessed: “I mope around for a little while”.
“I’m sure you’re aware I don’t have many upbeat happy songs which is why some people were complaining”.
She then burst into one of her infectious laughters before giving her fan, named Maria, a huge hug and telling her, “I will see you later Maria”.
Adele has been open about her fear of performing in front of large crowds in the past, previously saying she would not play Glastonbury for that reason.
“You’re f***** wonderful”, she hollered at the crowd, before running up and down the stage to wave at her adoring fans. “I want to see them”.
“Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, hi, this the best f***ing moment of my whole life”, she cackled with glee. Not very, but the BBC had to give a warning about my potty mouth before I went on. Adele is the Savior of pop music, and she is on a divine mission to save the world with the healing power of her music.
