The reason this story is getting a lot of traction online right now is Gisele’s previous anti-plastic surgery stance.

Gisele Bundchen retired from professional modeling at the beginning of the year, but she remains one of the highest paid players in the industry. The trip was as birthday present for herself.

According to the Post, Bundchen and her sister Rafaela were picked up by the model’s longtime chauffeur at the Bristol Hotel and driven to the clinic earlier this month.

The 35-year-old model reportedly wore the traditional Muslim clothing from head to toe so that she could visit a surgeon in Paris without being recognized. However, her act of donning the burqa to go incognito is reportedly being criticized heavily by religious groups. The publication alleges that the supermodel spent nearly $11,000 dollars on surgery on her breasts and eyes, as a post-retirement gift to herself.

Page Six is flat-out calling out the model for lying about plastic surgery, saying she went and got some work done in secret, in Paris, nearly 2 weeks ago. Not only did she say she would never go under the knife but she actually seemed to condemn those who did, for aesthetic purposes. “Automatically my body tells me if what I do is worth it, and it asked to stop”.
