Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi is reportedly planning to turn down a move to Crystal Palace in favour of a bigger club.

But according to The Daily Mail, Spurs remain confident that they’re still the front-runners in the race for the Belgium international’s signature and can obtain it for a better price.

Michy Batshuayi is closing in on a move to Chelsea after the Blues saw their €40million offer accepted by Marseille.

The bid is three times higher than Palace’s transfer record, set when they signed Yohan Cabaye from Paris Saint-Germain for £10 million last summer.
