Jessica Williams has just announced that she is leaving The Daily Show this Thursday. “I’m going to be, like, a 60-year-old white dude”.

While it’s definitely sad to see her go, Williams’ new show sounds like it’ll be full of the socially conscious and witty commentary that we know and love. “You can snap me in pictures walking around New York City”. Williams, in an exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, says, “I feel like I’m growing up and graduating”. “I’m 26 now. I’ve learned so much, I always kind of feel like it’s grad school – a sort of continuation of my education”.

This Thursday’s episode marks Williams’ final appearance (for the time being) on the late-night series, which means we have one last Williams segment to cherish before she signs off for good. She has a bright future ahead of her.
