She continued, “Stranger things on “Game of Thrones” have happened…”

Richard Plepler, David Benioff, Emilia Clarke, D.B. Weiss, Lena Headey and Michael Lombardo attend the “Game Of Thrones” Season 4 New York premiere at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center on March 18, 2014 in New York City. The army includes the Unsullied, the Dothraki, the fleet of the Ironborn led by Jara Greyjoy, the women of Dorne, Olenna Tyrell, and of course, her three mighty dragons. Will Lyanna and her fellows think otherwise if they find out Jon is not even Ned’s bastard – that he’s Ned’s nephew instead? And we can’t wait to see them! If it weren’t for that last epic “Unburnt” moment, this entire arc would have been a waste. Remember how he destroyed Stannis’ fleet with wildfire?
Her reasons for leaving Daario in Meereen were just – she needed someone she can trust to rule over the city and ensure that it doesn’t fall back into slavery while she’s across the Narrow Sea. We’re both creeped out and excited.
After Bran had his vision, the Northmen crowned Jon the king in the North and swore their allegiance to him.
Ned knew that he could not give Jon Snow the name Lyanna and Rhaegar may have chosen, which is why he ended up being Jon Snow. This scene confirms that Lyanna died due to childbirth complications, and that Jon Snow is not Ned’s bastard, but rather the son of Lyanna and Rhaegar Targaryen.
If Tyrion really was a Targaryen, it would also explain his father’s hatred of him and refusal to let him inherit Casterly Rock, as hinted at by this line (and others like it). More broadly, it could be argued that the very idea of bringing in another secret Targaryen might be a step too far after Jon Snow, and so the whole idea could be doomed from the start. Everyone, including avid readers of the books, was free to theorize about the future of Westeros and its many great houses. Apparently, the Targaryen price loved Lyanna and he believed that having a child with her would fulfill a prophecy received by Jaehaerys II. After all, his experience as head of the Night’s Watch didn’t end well for him, and it’s possible he may see the battle against the White Walkers as more of a calling than any throne.
Kings and Queens in Game of Thrones have a tendency to talk themselves into trouble.
“We’ve known the end for quite some time and we’re hurtling towards it”, said Benioff.
Hempstead Wright is absolutely right, as Jon’s Northern experience and Targaryen blood could prove an invaluable asset in the war to come. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Headey was asked if she thought that Cersei was long for the Iron Throne, and her response was “No, surely not”. Also with victory comes loss, she might lose her drangos i.e. her children in the process. We hope he can put some sense and ensure happy endings.
Speaking of family problems, USA Today is reporting that Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) and Jon might be at odds next season on Game of Thrones. “We know no king but the king in the north whose name is Stark”.
