Korean parliament convenes to follow up on party congress

For their part, South Korea and the United States do not officially acknowledge the North as a de facto nuclear weapons state.
The South Korean Foreign Ministry commented that this action was a “much stronger” response compared to the previous response, and was a reaction to a complaint from Seoul to the ICAO.
None of those proposals is new.
North Korea’s latest move was nothing more than the “typical propaganda” it had been repeating year after year, according to Seoul.
The new agency replaces the National Defense Commission as the country’s highest branch of government and supreme policymaking organization.
The Russian Federation, however, wants to preserve the North Korean regime, which prevents the important Korean peninsula from falling under the USA influence. However, the effectiveness of those sanctions to check North Korea’s nuclear ambitions is still in question, and there is now no sign of Pyongyang abandoning its nuclear aspirations.
