Basketball camper drops to floor after meeting Steph Curry
Ayesha Curry, wife of Golden State Warriors PG & 2-time NBA MVP Steph Curry, is a regular fixture at every Warriors game and it’s never been any controversy surrounding her until the 2016 NBA playoffs.
Curry showed up to a kid’s doorstep pretending to sell Girl Scout Cookies. They were all shocked to see the two-time MVP standing at their doors.
The team has posted a video on Twitter of Curry knocking on what appears to be a dorm room door. He dropped a kid to the floor and he didn’t even need to do the killer crossover that Chris Paul knows all so well. This time, though, he told them that he was a pizza delivery guy.
“Some lucky basketball campers got the surprise of a lifetime”, the Warriors captioned the video. While Durant and Curry have ended their feud on the court, the proxy war between Nike (NKE) and Under Armour (UA) has just been ratcheted up off the court. National Basketball Association fans are well aware that Curry is the poster boy of the Warriors.
The news of Kevin Durant joining the Golden State Warriors over the weekend is nearly certainly the biggest news this off-season. But, this can all change now that they have Durant.
Stephen Curry, meanwhile, reportedly assured KD that there won’t be any ego battles over who’s the proverbial Man in The Bay. According to The Undefeated, Curry directly told the former OKC Thunder forward that it doesn’t matter to him if he replaces him as the “face of the franchise”.
