Pokémon Go out now on iPhone and Android

“Pokemon Go” has finally finished the beta testing phase of the upcoming augmented-reality game by Niantic in North America.

Recently-launched augmented reality Pokemon game, Pokemon Go, is now available for download in the United States for the two biggest mobile operating system platforms Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iOS and Alphabet Inc.’s (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Android.

The app initially launched in New Zealand and Australia yesterday and has since been officially revealed in Japan and the US. But die-hard Pokemon fans could not wait any longer.

Normally, Nintendo likes to keep players within its “walled garden”, which means games can only be played on its own consoles.

There’s an inbuilt power saver option inside Pokemon GO settings that cuts down the game’s Global Positioning System usage and relies on the cellular data for your location.
