Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen May Still Join ‘Fuller House’
But how could there be a Full House reboot without “no way, José” and “you got it, dude?”
Jamie McCarthy/FilmMagic Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are considering joining the cast of “Fuller House” after originally choosing to not join the reboot. Well, emphasis on might.
Sarandos, appearing before journalists at the Television Critics Association press tour, explained why Netflix is so interested in revisting a series that left the air in 1995.
Sarandos also spilled that Fuller House will tug on all of your nostalgic heartstrings.
“The Olsen twins are teetering on whether or not they’ll be around”, said Sarandos.
“I understand they’re in a different place and I wish them the best”, John Stamos, who played their Uncle Jesse tweeted in May.

Netflix wanted to revive the show because it still appealed to the masses long after it’s ending in 1995, but felt it needed a modern feel.
Netflix is still bullish on its four-film deal with Adam Sandler despite the soft opening of his latest theatrical film, Pixels, Sarandos said, adding that Sandler’s appeal is very strong internationally. If everyone is back, why not right?!

He said that Netflix was very interested in reviving the series, because Full House has shown staying power, not only keeping its original fan base but gaining new fans with each generation as repeats of it are seen in syndication.
Earlier this year, Fuller House executive producer Robert L. Boyett was rather adamant that the duo would not be returning to the series. A new Marvel series will be released every six months leading up to Defenders.
