Federal Bureau of Investigation interviews Hillary Clinton over private emails
FILE – In this June 7, 2016, file photo, former President Bill Clinton, left, stands on stage with his wife, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, after she spoke during a presidential primary election night rally in NY.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s former chief of staff during the time Clinton was Secretary of State was spotted leaving Clinton’s residence on the same day Clinton was interviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation about her email scandal.
One of Hillary Clinton’s biggest fans, Andrea Mitchell, was on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday to talk, among other things, about Clinton’s week.
In an apparent move to quell such concerns, Lynch said on Friday that she “fully” expected herself to accept recommendation by FBI investigators on whether to bring charges related to Hillary Clinton’s personal email setup. CNN has previously reported no charges were expected to be brought against Clinton because the investigators had not found evidence to warrant charges, according to multiple law enforcement officials.
Hillary Clinton is the presumptive Democratic candidate for president.
Since Lynch appears to be taking a lesser role given the attention from her impromptu meeting in Phoenix, more attention may be paid to career prosecutors at the Department of Justice involved in the case and FBI Director James Comey, a Republican.
“[Lynch] has generally shown excellent judgment and strong leadership of the department, and I’m convinced that she’s an independent attorney general”, he said.

“Not now”, said moderator Chuck Todd dashing her dreams.
The FBI is investigating Clinton’s server to see if classified information was mishandled, a topic that has become a key issue in her presidential campaign.
“Well, I think, you know, hindsight is 20/20”.
Some Republican lawmakers are also urging for an independent investigation after Attorney General Leretta Lynch had a private meeting with Clinton’s husband, former President Bill Clinton at an airport on Thursday. She will join Obama for their first joint campaign appearance on Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Clinton will follow it up with an event on Wednesday in Atlantic City, New Jersey, aimed at undercutting Trump’s business practices. The system is totally rigged.
“I trust Hillary Clinton in part, because, for a whole lot of reasons”, Brown said on “This Week” on ABC.
