Chicago Bears open first camp under Pace, Fox

In each of the 32 NFL training camps, there’s a press conference to open the new season.

Like, demanding as much contact as is legally allowed in training camp.

With that being said, the Bears have other receivers that know how to put up numbers in the NFL. He wants to say as little as possible about what he’s thinking, for good reason.

RESTORING SUCCESS: Fox comes to Chicago with a reputation for turning around losing teams, and the Bears are counting on him to do it again. That’s understandable.

After last season, the locker room and team chemistry are going to be an ongoing topic for this group until it forms its own identity. It was more a general statement than a statement about Allen. By league rule, if a player isn’t ready to participate in practice, he has to be placed on the PUP list. As endorsements go, it was lukewarm at best.

If that happens to be the case, there really isn’t a concern.

Repeating the type of first-year playoff run Denver made in 2011 under Fox will be a formidable challenge considering all the movement and generally unsettled nature of this team.
