A woman speaks with an officer at a vigil outside Dallas police headquarters in Dallas on Friday. Dayton said Friday that he stood by his statements and had no new information about the case.
Authorities say Johnson had bomb-making materials, ballistic vests, rifles, ammunition, and a personal journal of combat tactics at his home. The two were gunned down 1,200 miles but less than 24 hours apart. The races of the officers who were shot have not been released.
Dayton has emerged from his residence to talk with protesters several times this week.
