She could be heard saying Castile was shot after police pulled their auto over, citing a broken tail light.

For good reasons, Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton said Thursday he didn’t think a white driver would have been shot by the police in a similar situation. The 28-year-old has a wife and child, and graduated from Minnesota State University Mankato with a degree in law enforcement in 2010. When the officer asks for identification, he says, carriers should say they have a permit to carry and have a firearm. And I hunt and I fish and I own a gun.
