Earlier in the week, Trump tweeted a photo of presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton next to a six-pointed star that had text over it calling Clinton corrupt, and the use of the star image, which looks like the Star of David, drew complaints that it was anti-semitic.
This Frozen picture had been floating around on Twitter throughout the day, primarily being reposted by Trump’s supporters and by Twitter trolls mocking those on the left who were offended by Trump’s original tweet.
“I made that very clear to him that I’m focused on Iowa”, she said, a few days after Trump suggested she might be on his list in a weekend tweet.
Donald Trump’s campaign on Wednesday announced it raised $51 million since late May, a sign that his first major fundraising foray has proved moderately successful. The Trump campaign and the RNC announced this month that they are adding about 85 fundraising veterans to their operation.
Trump personally contributed $3.8 million to his campaign as well, bringing the total to $55 million.
On Friday, his campaign and the Republican National Committee released the names of dozens of people who have agreed to oversee fundraising efforts for Trump and the party in 33 states and Washington, D.C. The group includes some of the Republican Party’s biggest fundraisers, including Florida real-estate magnate Mel Sembler and Michigan’s Ron Weiser, a former top fundraiser for the Republican National Committee.
Clinton’s campaign also quickly jumped on the opportunity to go back on the attack, tweeting: “Do you want to build a strawman?”
The real estate mogul said in Wednesday’s Fox News interview that two generals are now being considered.
Last night, Trump tried once again to justify his actions by tweeting a star image on the cover of a recently published FROZEN book, asking “Where is the outrage for this Disney book? It implies she’s a crook”, he said. Trump said. “These people are sick”.
