Disney Teases ‘Star Wars’ Experience With Official Concept Art
Star Wars fans are finally getting a glimpse of the highly anticipated Star Wars-themed lands coming to Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts.
The image shows off a bustling port with an X-Wing flying over head, and if you look a bit closer, you’ll see the Millennium Falcon nestled away next to some rock spires.
The image seems to be a spruced-up version of the view of the park, which is rumored to be called the Star Wars Experience, that Disney Imagineer Greg Pro posted to his official website in April. The 14-acre additions will be the biggest single-theme expansion at the parks in history, but obviously this concept image tilts toward the fantastical. Concept art for the some of the potential areas were revealed in February, and now a brand-new image of the entire park has been released by the company. And today, they’ve given us a brand new look at what we should expect from the tremendous realm that they’re building, via the Disneyland Parks Blog.
Star Wars Land doesn’t now have an opening date, but you can bet that we’ll be among the first in line!
Star Wars Land will be set on an as-yet-unnamed new planet in the Star Wars galaxy. It is part of an attraction in which guests can pilot the ship. Of course, you can’t miss the Millennium Falcon, which is one of the two rides in the section, plus it’s just got a very lived in, Star Wars feel.
