Stanton started slow in the semi-finals before getting on a roll. Once he finds his groove he is going to be hard to beat. That came with lots of extra media obligations.

Stanton considered to be the favorite by many. “I feel fine. I’ll look back on this and see it as a plus”.

If we learned anything from last year’s MLB All-Star festivities, its that neither the Futures Game nor the All-Star Game itself comes close to matching the drama and excitement of baseball’s annual Home Run Derby. Duvall put up 15 more deep balls with his compact power swing. Stanton has been semi-hot as of late, but with him he can catch fire at any time.
