Biden rebuffs Giuliani on Black Lives Matter
Five police officers were shot in Dallas last Friday by a former veteran Micah Johnson who said he wanted to “kill white people” and has soared racial tensions in America.
Hardaway spoke passionately to the other Black Lives Matter protesters to convince them to cross the street, telling them “God created you and he created my brother over there”, pointing at the counterprotesters across the street. He asked where Black Lives Matter was when a black 9-year-old boy was “mowed down” in San Bernardino last week by a black suspect. As in, “only black lives matter.” but no one is saying that.
Ben Blevins was among those at Saturday’s protest outside the Statehouse. I think unfortunately there are evil people who will do bad things and clearly this person [the Dallas gunman] was an evil person. Ferguson. You know, he jumps in, weighs in, before black eyewitnesses pointed out that yeah, Michael Brown fought for a police officer’s gun, charged at a police officer, and after he had robbed a convenience store and bullied a clerk. “Where are they when a young black child is killed?”
“Yeah, we’d say it’s racist”, Meyers admitted. “Sometimes, people hear what they want to hear in those conversations”.
While balancing the call for justice from the Black Lives Matter protesters.
On Sunday, CBS’s David Begnaud reported that Baton Rouge police were seen breaking into a woman’s house where protesters had taken refuge. State police say the incident unfolded in the Oyster Creek Channel on Barnegat Bay Sunday afternoon when a 36-foot speed boat collided with a 16-foot Carolina Skiff boat, sending three people into the water. “However, it’s not something that we don’t experience every single day of our lives”. “The Chief of Police showed up herself this morning, everybody was very respectful, and it’s been made very clear that this is a peaceful movement for change”, said Cassie Perando, a Black Lives Matter supporter.
“No one group organized the event, which I thought was super interesting”, Parks said.
Each time, the protestors would move to the other side of the street until they reached East Tyler Street and that’s where Tampa police reinforcements stepped in and drew a line in the sand. Demonstrations will also take place at Daunt Square in Cork city and Eyre Square in Galway, beginning at 6.30pm.
