‘The Flash’ brings Kid Flash in Season 3 – See the full costume
The CW shared this first look pic at Wally West’s (Keiynan Lonsdale) speedster alter ego on Tuesday, which is sure to get fans buzzing about the upcoming Flashpoint storyline the show will be tackling in season three. It could be possible this is how Wally will gain his speedster abilities in Season 3 or it could have to do with the Flashpoint timeline we’ll see in the premiere.
After the explosive finale of The Flash Season 2, the possibilities are endless for Season 3, especially now we know that the season will indeed adapt the game-changing DC Comic arc Flashpoint. It’s that Wally who Lonsdale was cast to “play”, although it’s the classic Wally costume – now appearing in Teen Titans, or at least soon to be – that he’s wearing.
Not bad, right? Personally, I’m not a fan of the half-yellow, half-red color scheme, but I’ve never been a fan of Kid Flash’s half-yellow, half-red color scheme in the comics, either (it may have something to do with the fact that the evil Reverse-Flash is all yellow, and I think it’s weird that Wally is basically a combo of the two). Instead, he stayed his hand, let history run its course, and returned to discover the multiverse.
The Flash stars Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells and Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West. Season 2 of the series also introduced Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West and the Earth-2 version of The Flash as played by John Wesley Shipp (who also played Barry’s father, Henry Allen). It told the story of an alternate universe where there was no Superman or The Flash, Wonder Woman and Aquaman/u0027s nations were on the brink of war, and Batman was Thomas Wayne, driven to the edge after the murder of his son in Crime Alley.
