‘BATMAN – The Telltale Series’ release date and details announced

Batman: The Telltale Series, the upcoming adventure game starring the Dark Knight, will be available in a physical disc version at retail starting september 13, distributor Warner Bros.

Telltale has said they want their Batman game to focus just as much on Bruce Wayne as it does on the Caped Crusader. For the latest updates on the game, check out Telltale’s website, Twitter, and Facebook. It will then be released as a Season Pass Disc in North America on September 13 in North America.

The Telltale Game will be released as a digital download in August on console, PC/Mac and on Android and iOS devices. The Walking Dead quickly became a runaway hit, with a third season now in the works, but it’s The Wolf Among Us that really surprised us. Stay tuned to Heroes Direct for more Batman game news! The box art above indicates that the game will be available for physical purchase for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

In a blog post, Telltale explained that Batman was the ideal character for their brand of storytelling and that it hopes to go “behind the mask” to explore the mind of Bruce Wayne. After hints indicated that the new Batman game would launch sometime this summer, Telltale Games has finally confirmed when players can finally venture into Gotham City. Interactive Entertainment is up on the App Store now for both iPhone and iPad players. Telltale is on a hot streak thanks to hits like The Walking Dead and Tales from the Borderlands.
