Rolling Stone frontman Mick Jagger expecting his 8th child
The news comes just two months after Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood became a father to twins, who he shares with his wife Sally Humphreys.
Virginia native Hamrick is a member of the American Ballet Theatre’s corps de ballet and was previously engaged to Cuban classical dancer Jose Manuel Carreno.
The duo were first linked in 2014, when they were spotted canoodling on the balcony of his hotel in Zurich. He’s been incredibly supportive, ‘ they added.
This will be Mick and Melanie’s first child together and Melanie’s first ever.
‘They are taking the news in their stride’.
Fatherhood is apparently giving Mick Jagger a lot of satisfaction.
Billboard confirmed The Rolling Stones rocker is expecting his eighth child, the latest with his 29-year-old girlfriend, American ballerina Melanie Hamrick.
Jagger was formerly married to Bianca Jagger, with whom he had a daughter named Jade.
She told the aptly named Rolling Stone magazine: “I had been sheltered in this boarding school for 6 years, dancing morning until night, and suddenly I was in New York City dancing for ABT”. The tiny tot will join older siblings Lizzy, 32, James, 30, Georgia May, 24 and Gabriel, 18, from Mick’s relationship with ex-partner Jerry Hall.
Mr. Jagger became a great-grandfather two years ago when granddaughter Assisi Jackson gave birth to a girl.
In 1999 he fathered a love child, Lucas, 17, after a fling with Luciana Gimenez, a Brazilian television presenter. She and Jagger are said to have met in Tokyo in 2014.
