Star Wars Battlefront’s next DLC takes you into the Death Star’s trench

He took over the Empire following the events of the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi, but this version will make his presence felt in the years covered by Star Wars Rebels.

EA revealed some Star Wars: Battlefront DLC news after Amy Hennig’s on stage interview about the upcoming Visceral Games project at Star Wars Celebration in London.

“A blue-skinned militaristic leader, Thrawn emerged as one of Star Wars fandom’s favorite villains in the era following George Lucas” original movie trilogy. The developer revealed that the next expansion would be focused on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Both Walker Assault and Fighter Squadron will have the new Skirmish game mode at varying difficulties. Star Wars Battlefront fans already know that the next expansion pack coming to the game is the Death Star. The third paid expansion pack, the Death Star pack, debuted a new teaser trailer (we’ll update this post with that trailer when it hits the internet), featuring the trench run, fully playable – to much applause at Celebration.

Star Wars Battlefront’s fourth and final DLC pack will bring locations and characters from this winter’s Rogue One to the shooter, with the tropical planet of Scarif complemented by Jyn and Krennic – the characters played by Felicity Jones and Ben Mendelsohn.
