Pokemon Go servers are down again and people are panicking
Pokemon Go players released their frustrations on social media and constructed a number of memes to spend time before the servers go back online. Its needless to say that the game’s launch has been anything but smooth.
In the aftermath of yesterday’s Pokemon Go outage hacking group PoodleCorp claimed to be behind the game going down. The reason was said to be a possible hack or a server slowdown due to the overwhelming response from users around the world. It was originally launched on July 7, but it was only available in eight countries.
Attempts to log in to the game led to an announcement saying “our servers are experiencing issues”. One silver lining, though: your plans have just been delayed, not cancelled entirely, as Pokemon Go appears to be working just fine as of when we posted this article.
Whatever the reason they need to get their server issues sorted out: while the game remains popular now ongoing issues will see people abandon Pokemon GO almost as quickly as they took it up. Regardless of the case, Niantic seems to have managed to resolve the issue and gamers can continue playing the game as per normal. Some users said that the game tends to freeze a lot as they play.
PoodleCorp also recently targeted gaming YouTubers such as Pewdiepie, according to the report.
People are wandering around aimlessly for the second time in two days – because Pokemon Go has gone down again.
