Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge – The Olympic Games Limited Edition
And the company will be showing off its new VR technology and distributing Olympic Games pins at its “Galaxy Studios’ in the Olympic Park and in other locations in Brazil”. None of these phones are cut and dry the best or worst overall, and it really seems to depend on what category and conditions you regularly shoot in that determines which phone’s camera will perform the best.
The difference between the Olympics Edition and a standard model is nothing insane – the phone features a special Olympics 2016 UI, including themed Samsung apps, on top of the obvious Olympics hardware theme. One of the constant WorldWide Olympic Partners (for the Wireless Communication Equipment section in particular) is Samsung and as part of their Olympic spirit for this edition, they will be releasing a limited Olympic Games edition for one of their flagships, the Galaxy S7 edge. The devices will also come with pre-loaded Olympic wallpaper backgrounds.
Furthermore, the volume rocker key is in green color and yellow color is incorporated in the speaker and home button. Samsung have incorporated a colorway pattern in red, green, blue, yellow and black (these of course being the colors of the Olympic Rings).
Exactly 2,016 of these functionally-identical-to-the-S7-edge phones will be available in selected countries “including Brazil, the United States, China, Germany and Korea”, according to Sammy.
