Rare Pokemon Go Vaporeon Caused Stampede in Central Park

So, yeah, it’s only a matter of time before we add “person gets mercilessly trampled” to the growing list of horrors Pokemon Go is responsible for. Players were shown leaping out of their vehicles to catch the rare virtual creature. Whatever the case, New York City’s Central Park was swarming with eager participants after a rare find was supposedly “spotted” at the infamous city park.

It turns out that there is a way to choose how your Eevee evolves in “Pokemon GO”. People spread out all around the park and would shout out if a rare pokemon spawned. Well, at least not a lot were pleased as most were not able to capture the Vaporean. As the Pokemon is yet to totally zoom out so the player can certainly hit the Pokemon with a Pokeball.

But it would appear that the creatures were able to roam free in the United Kingdom on Saturday afternoon as fans posted on social media about how the server was down.
