According to Reuters news report, witnesses in Munich rampage saw three shooters with long rifles – local police spokesman.
Munich police are hunting for a shooter or shooters and using the term “suspected terrorism” in connection with a deadly attack at a McDonald’s in a city mall. German rail operator Deutsche Bahn said that trains to Munich Central Station were halted and that the station was being evacuated.
Eventually, she said, police “told everyone to clear off the area and go to the other side of the street”.
There are conflicting reports on casualties.
Dpa says the attack started at a fast food restaurant in the mall, shortly before 6 p.m.in Munich, or 11 a.m. Central Standard Time, according to Munich police spokesman Thomas Baumann. Taxi drivers have been advised to avoid the Karlsplatz area. “We are trying to get the people out and take care of them”, a police spokeswoman said.
Police in Munich reportedly said they expect “multiple dead” after a shooting spree inside a city shopping center, prompting a massive police response and an intense manhunt for possible suspects.
Reports from local media say that many more have been injured.

Munich police are urging people to avoid public places. Early reports say as many as 10 people were killed, though CNN right now is reporting only one fatality.
An official at the Munich Olympia Shopping Centre declined comment, saying only, “We are experiencing a problem”.
A video posted online – whose authenticity could not be confirmed – showed a man dressed in black outside a McDonalds by the roadside, drawing a handgun and shooting towards members of the public.
