Kansas Woman’s Body Found After Skydiving in Oklahoma
The body of a Kansas woman who went missing after skydiving has been found near Cushing, Oklahoma.
The body of a 26-year-old Kansas woman was found just after 8 a.m.at Little Street and County Line on the Lincoln County side, according to Charlie Dougherty, Lincoln Co Sheriff.
The woman’s name was not immediately released.
A search is underway for a missing skydiver in Lincoln County.
The Federal Aviation Administration was examining the woman’s parachute harness Monday to determine why she may have landed without it, agency spokesman Lynn Lunsford said.

The victim had been jumping with the Oklahoma Skydiving Center, which operates at the Cushing Airport, and Sunday’s jump was not her first, Folden said.
