Marvel marks Comic-Con homecoming with a showstopper

The friendly environment of adoring fans means anything they say is met with adulation and the good kind of frenzy. I grew up as a white kid in north Denver, watching movies every weekend.
Marvel unveils a string of movies and their stars including “Black Panther”, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2”, Spider-Man Homecoming” and “Doctor Strange’. “There is Marvel TV who is pretty disconnected from Marvel Film, which is owned by Disney, and that’s really not connected at all”. San Diego’s Comic-Con is a colourful mix of dedicated comic fans and a treasure trove of upcoming film trailers and new projects in the works.

Marvel closed things out on a high note, however, with an obligatory all-Marvel photo, including the new Captain Marvel herself Oscar-winner Brie Larson, who was greeted with a rapturous standing ovation. Chris Pine also co-stars as military officer Steve Trevor, who becomes close to Prince.
A trailer revealed for the first time that Sylvester Stallone also has a role in the “Guardians” sequel. The new trailer also offers a bit of humor going into the film with “it’s the wifi password, we are not savages”.
Marvel will try to keep the edge in that category with Doctor Strange this November 4, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 on May 5, 2017, Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7, 2017, Black Panther on February 16, 2018 and Larson’s Captain Marvel on March 8, 2019.

The Comic-Con audience were treated to a first look at Spider-Man: Homecoming despite the film being just 10 days into its shoot.
Legion is a new Marvel series for FX in the works from the creator of Fargo, and it follows a very familiar character from the X-Men universe. “Sherlock is a lot more effing unusual than odd, strangely enough”.
