Ohio Attorney Jailed for Refusing to Remove Black Lives Matter Pin

Conservative pundits called Black Lives Matter the new KKK when in actuality, since Reconstruction and the 1920s, white supremacists and KKK members were among the judges, politicians and police that enforced Jim Crow laws against Black people and minorities and had another set of laws for white people.
Milich said, “A judge is objective and tries to make sure everyone has an opportunity to have a fair hearing, and it was a situation where it was just in violation of the law”. If she loses the appeal, she will have to serve five days in jail.
The New York Liberty, Indiana Fever and Phoenix Mercury all wore various versions of Black Lives Matter shirts, and were dinged for them until the Washington Mystics stepped up. Measures like stop-and-frisk without probable cause, and no-knock warrants to conduct paramilitary drug raids, give police too much power to use unchecked force. This movement has never called for the execution of law enforcement officers.
The Blue Lives Matter movement assumes that police officers in America are disparaged and discriminated against. It would have to be something that I could stand behind. This was true of the deadly attack in Baton Rouge that left three officers dead and several others injured just a week ago, along with attacks in several other states.
But, there is a vast difference between a button that actually advocates defeat of statewide referendum and a button that simply says “Black Lives Matter”.
One of the march’s organizers told the crowd, “We are here on the eve of the election for two parties who have not stopped police from killing us”.
Let me make myself very clear: what happened in Dallas was certainly not OK.
