Eagles’ Nigel Bradham accused of assaulting hotel worker in umbrella dispute
Bradham was indicted with aggravated assault, a second-degree felony. The incident escalated when Bradham punched the victim on the nose, causing the latter to fall in the ground.
Later that night she called the police and said she was assaulted. The source said an umbrella had nothing to do with it. Amid the melee, though, the worker’s swing missed Bradham and hit a woman in Bradham’s group instead. Bradham could well be subject to league-imposed discipline, pending the investigation.
“For a few days, I sat back and I was in shock”, Agholor said of when he first heard the allegations. It was a private conversation. “I’ve got to continue to stay focused on football”. He’s obviously humbled by it and he understands the situation and the magnitude.
Bradham and his friends argued with an employee over how long it took him to bring over an umbrella. The group left the scene. The alleged incident took place Thursday the Hilton Bentley hotel, and Bradham turned himself into police on Monday.
Linebacker Nigel Bradham and wide receiver Nelson Agholor, the two Philadelphia Eagles players involved in off-field trouble over the past six weeks, faced the media Thursday after taking part in the first full-team practice of training camp.
Agholor was accused of sexual assault by a dancer at Cheerleaders, a gentlemen’s club in South Philadelphia, June 2.
Pederson talked to the team in April about his expectations for off-field behavior. We’re in a high-profile business, and being in the city of Philadelphia, things get magnified a little bit …
Then he added: “Until I can get all the information, and us here at the Eagles can get all the information, then we’ll make a decision at that point”.
I haven’t talked much about former Canadian Football League star Aaron Grymes who let me know that he’s confident he can make this football team.
