Daniel Radcliffe Joins Federal Bureau of Investigation Thriller, Imperium
He’s changing that with a new role, signing up to play an Federal Bureau of Investigation agent in Imperium. Read on to find out more.
The former cinematic wizard is set to star in the story of a young FBI agent who is recruited to go deep undercover. He also recently finished filming BBC drama Game Changer as the creator of Grand Theft Auto, as well as conman sequel Now You See Me: The Second Act. In the film, the character based on German will be similarly embedded, trying to stop a bunch of chaos-happy white supremacists constructing a dirty bomb. It is worth noting that he has since left the organization and has been vocally critical of their surveillance techniques.
The crime thriller will be the feature-length debut of short film-maker Daniel Ragussis who co-wrote the script with German himself. Ty Walker, Dennis Lee and Simon Taufique are producing the movie with plans to start shooting in the fall.
In the meantime, Radcliffe is busy with diverse projects.
We next see Daniel Radcliffe on the big screen in the UK in Judd Apatow’s incoming comedy Trainwreck, and his big role this year is as Igor in Paul McGuigan’s upcoming movie, Victor Frankenstein.
