She extended her bogey-free run to 33 holes with four birdies in an impressive outward nine of 32 and a controlled 34, picking up two further shots, coming back, saw her overtake South Korea’s Mirim Lee, who led after the first and second rounds.
“It was raining so I had to rush and bogeyed the 16th hole, it is stuff you have to deal with”, she said.

Mo Martin, the 2004 British Open champion, remained in the mix, posting a 69 to sit five strokes back of the lead heading into the final round.

“We both got off to great starts and Ariya played tremendously today”, Matthew said.
Sarah Jane Smith also finished in the top 20, a 1-over final round dropping her to T17 at 5-under for the week.
The Thai then steadied herself well after taking six shots at the 13th, responding with three straight pars to maintain her slender lead over playing partner Lee.
