Trump claims unity in his campaign
He said Trump “smears the character of Muslims” and challenged the Republican nominee’s knowledge of the U.S. Constitution.
“I’ve never been there with John McCain because I’ve always felt that he should have done a much better job for the vets”, Trump said Tuesday.

“For me, it is not enough to simply denounce his comments: He is unfit to serve our party and can not lead this country”, Hanna wrote in the letter posted on syracuse.com, the website of the Post-Standard newspaper in NY. “He is unrepentant in all things”.
Campaign aides wish Trump were spending more time talking about public policy and aiming his fire at Hillary Clinton.
W. James Antle III of the Washington Examiner, though, came to Trump’s defense, pointing out that Ryan’s and McCain’s opponents have both been stronger backers of the Republican presidential nominee.
And Sally Bradshaw, who wrote the post-2012 report calling for unity and tolerance in the Republican Party, said she’s leaving the GOP.
Trump has angered his party’s leadership by refusing to endorse Ryan or Sen. When retired four-star general John Allen criticized Trump over his support for torture and other violations of global law, Trump responded by calling Allen a “failed general”.
Obama’s attack was right on the merits, but it also changed the political calculus for Republicans considering backing away from Trump.
A short time later, Trump elicited widespread backlash by insinuating Khan’s wife was not allowed to speak.
Asked about the Khans, Trump said in Tuesday’s interview, “I was viciously attacked on the stage, and I have a right to answer back”.
“If @realDonaldTrump wants to be the Commander in Chief, he needs to act like one”.
“Captain Khan was one such fearless example”.
Trump yesterday refused to endorse Ryan, who faces a primary challenge from Paul Nehlen, repeating nearly word for word the language the speaker used this spring when he was reluctant to back the NY billionaire.
“Neither Speaker Ryan nor anyone on his team has ever asked for Donald Trump’s endorsement”, Zack Roday, a Ryan campaign spokesman, said in a statement. “And we are confident in a victory next week regardless”.
“Trump is still behaving like as though it was the primaries and there were 17 candidates”.
U.S. Republican Representative Charlie Dent, who has not endorsed Trump, criticized the candidate’s tone on Tuesday and called for more measured responses, telling MSNBC his “incendiary comments. are causing real problems”.
Trump may have been seeking retribution for Ryan’s dragging his feet about endorsing Trump in May. Obama said. “What does this say about your party that this is your standard-bearer?” She had nothing to say. From the preceding, it seems to all that there is division amongst the party leaders.
