Dove Cameron recalls days of being bullied while on Disney’s ‘Descendants’ set

Director Kenny Ortega reunited with some of the stars of the popular series Friday in Los Angeles at the premiere of his new Disney Channel movie, “Descendants”.

Descendants is a live-action film, following the teenage children of some of Disney’s greatest villains (Maleficent, Evil Queen, Jafar and Cruella De Vil), as they attend prep school with the children of some of Disney’s heroes, including Mulan and Cinderella. Canadian-born Paul Becker co-choreographed.

It is one of the most highly anticipated family films of the year-Disney’s “Descendants“-and actor Booboo Stewart joined the PIX11 Morning News with a sneak peek of the upcoming flick”.

Cameron says they were able to create their own backstories to their characters.

Sofia Carson, who plays Evie, told us her favorite number from the flick and thinks fans will love it too. She soon realizes that she is much more than a pretty face, and there’s more to life than being the fairest of them all.

Cameron says Chenoweth has been her “hero” since she was seven, noting she often listened to her songs because they’re both coloratura sopranos.
